Are you ready to jump onboard?As part of the ongoing transformation, we are aligning the global front-end "Sales and Service" organisation to respond to increased customer demand and sustain future growth across Commercial Marine, Navy and Industrial markets. The long-range plan targets organic growth in Sales from EUR 200M to EUR 350M by 2030.Role: SLS Sales Support (France and African territories). You will be part of the SLS Area Sales team within the global SLS Sales & Delivery organisation, delivering business growth in the Commercial Marine market through a proactive sales approach focused on ship owners, ship management, shipyards and partners targeting new build projects and lifecycle vessel support.ResponsibilitiesGenerate customer specific solutions, specifications and quotations for SLS portfolio for New Build and Aftermarket business.Bid management.Evaluate inquiries and register/maintain opportunity information in CRM.Configure solutions according to defined needs.Prepare cost calculations according to directives and agreed targets.Evaluate technical and environmental risks of the solution.Ensure response time for sales inquiries, requests and orders is met.Provide technical assistance to Sales and customers.Participate in relevant sales meetings with customers when required.Publish sales materials.Organise handover meetings with involved parties.Main requirementsYou are passionate about SLS business and willing to drive it to the next level.Advanced experience in Marine Industry.Ability to work in multicultural/international environments.Self-driven and self-motivated.Continuous learning ability.Openness and willingness to adapt to change.Willingness to travel to meet customers when requested.Proficient negotiation skills.Customer orientation.Knowledge of Wärtsilä SLS product & system is a plus.Knowledge of Marine Industry.Familiar with Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint/CRM/AutoCAD/SAP.Fluent in French & English.Success metricsOrder intake, sales and margin for lifecycle and newbuild packages in the respective area.Area Flash accuracy in Order Intake, Sales, Commercial margin, etc.Area opportunity and leads management.Engagement and participation of the regional team on WCI requirements.Ideal candidate attributesDrive Wärtsilä purpose and values; value collaboration and build high-performing teams.Demonstrate integrity, listen well, and support others to grow.Ability to create clarity on direction and inspire action toward goals.Focus on delivering clear business value with a goal-oriented mindset.Plan effectively, remove obstacles, and ensure results; accountability for business impact.Foster an organization with passion and drive, while enjoying doing business.Why WärtsiläWe value diversity and support inclusive work communities.
