You will be working in an international team with fellow development engineers, as well as quality assurance, customer support, documentation, and product marketing engineers.The primary job responsibility will be to develop Linux/Windows desktop applications and Linux applications running on embedded platforms.Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop new competitive functionalities and support the existing software solutions.Analyze requirements and contribute to all levels of architecture and development.Participate in software design, code reviews, and technical documentation creationEnsure appropriate quality software by creating automated tests on a regular basis and then maintaining them.QualificationsBachelor’s/master’s degree in electrical engineering or related fieldExperience in Software EngineeringStrong team player with good spoken and written communication skills in English and French/GermanExcellent knowledge in object orientated programming with C++ according to C++11 or laterAdvanced Experience in creating abstract software architectures for Windows and LinuxGood exposure to algorithm designs, data structures and problem solvingExperience with script languages (TCL, Bash, Python)Experience in Qt programmingBeneficial SkillsHDL experience (either Verilog or System Verilog)Perforce, GIT, JenkinsAbility to work in a dynamic environmentWorking at Siemens SoftwareWhy us?Working at Siemens Software means flexibility - Choosing between working at home and the office at other times is the norm here.
