Senior Museum Coordinator

Alchemy is partnering with a leading fine art logistics provider to recruit a Senior Coordinator for its Museum Services team in the Paris region. This role focuses on coordinating fine art transport, exhibition logistics, and courier movements for museums, institutions, and cultural partners across France and internationally. The Senior Coordinator collaborates closely with internal departments, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects run smoothly, on schedule, and to the highest standards. Occasional travel to museum sites and client meetings is required. Key Responsibilities: Manage national and international museum transport projects, including packing, shipping, customs procedures, and documentation. Communicate proactively with clients in both French and English, providing timely updates and resolving logistical issues. Monitor project budgets, ensure adherence to quotations and margins, and issue accurate invoices upon project completion. Plan and coordinate operations with internal teams, couriers, subcontractors, and agents. Maintain a consistently high level of service and contribute to the ongoing development of museum and exhibition logistics. Report project progress, challenges, and successes to management. Requirements: Experience in fine art logistics, museum coordination, gallery operations, or specialist transport. Solid understanding of fine art handling, transport procedures, and customs requirements. Excellent organisational skills, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication skills and confidence working with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in IT tools and logistics management systems. Fluency in both French and English is essential.
