The HR Business Partner is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides full cycle Human Resources support to our management and employees across CoStar France and Spain. The HRBP acts as the connection between the business lines and HR to assess trends in areas such as engagement and retention, performance management and compensation, career and leadership development.In this role you will be reporting to the VP, International Human Resources. You will be working closely with the General Manager for France, the VP, European Research , the General Manager for Spain and other key senior regional stakeholders.OVERVIEWAs the HR Business Partner for CoStar France and Spain, you will play a crucial role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives. You will work closely with leaders to drive employee engagement, performance, and organizational effectiveness. This position requires a deep understanding of French employment law and regulations, as well as a proactive approach to problem-solving and fostering a positive work environment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESStrategic Business Partnering:Partner with business leaders to understand their strategic objectives and provide HR support to achieve them.Provide counsel and guidance to managers and employees regarding company policies and procedures, as well as on organization change management, employee relations, performance management and employee development.Support and execute full lifecycle employee and HR processes including; bonus program(s), promotions, performance review processes, year-end compensation, engagement survey roll-out, manager excellence, employee relations, and other recurring people processes.Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and overall workplace satisfaction.Analyse data, and effectively organise and present findings to drive data-backed HR strategy.Coach managers to aid in their effectiveness, foster highly functioning and engaged teams and drive a thriving corporate culture.Facilitate training on employee development, coaching and other management topics.Employee Relations:Proactively manage and resolve employee relations issues, ensuring a positive work environment.Act as a trusted advisor to management on employee relations matters, conducting investigations and providing guidance on resolutions.Manage end to end employee relations cases for France.Works Councils:Manage the relationship with the Works Councils.HR Policies And Compliance:Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with French employment laws.HR OperationsPartner with HR centers of excellence to ensure execution of all human resource operations within assigned client groups and serve as a central point of contact for client groups’ HR needs.Help process transactions via HRIS including promotions, transfers, job and compensation changes and terminations.Projects:Support HR efforts in the integration of acquisitions, ensuring a smooth transition for both acquired and existing employees.QUALIFICATIONSRelevant degree or equivalent experience required.HR Business Partner experience required in a role operating in a matrix organization.In-depth knowledge of French employment laws and regulations required: including but not limited to Works Council management, end to end management of employee relations cases in France, accords d’entreprise, working time... etc.High degree of integrity and confidentiality.Enthusiasm, excellent interpersonal skills, proactivity, autonomy, and a sense of priorities.Strong client-service.Ability to influence and build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.Excellent data analysis, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?Working at CoStar Group means you'll enjoy a culture of collaboration and innovation that attracts the best and brightest across a broad range of disciplines.
