Payroll Partner (France - Remote) - Veralto As the Payroll Partner, you will be a key member of the HR Services team committed to building a workplace that fuels growth. The role is based in France and fully remote. In this role, you will: Manage a caseload of Tier 1 payroll requests, responding to inquiries and supporting transactional execution while exceeding SLAs and quality standards. Serve as point of contact for payroll inquiries from regional EMEA Associate Groups, focusing on France and providing support to other countries as needed. Handle the full payroll cycle: collect, validate, and input payroll‑related data, ensuring timely payment of salaries in compliance with French statutory and collective regulations in partnership with payroll providers. Coordinate with external payroll vendors to ensure accurate calculations and timely submissions of social security contributions, taxes, and other statutory requirements. Interact with HR and finance during monthly payroll activities by updating related HRIS and communicating hire, leaver, transfer, promotion, and organizational changes promptly. Support internal and external audits, including SOX compliance, document procedures, and maintain internal controls. Maintain correspondence with tax offices, health insurance companies, social security institutions, and other authorities. Process supplementary insurance and pension plans. Create payroll reports and statistics, issue certificates and forms, reconcile accounts with the financial department, and prepare annual financial statements. The essential requirements of the job include: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field with at least 2 years of proven payroll experience. Deep knowledge of French labor, tax, and social security regulations (additional country knowledge is a plus). Experience working in multicultural, international teams, collaborating with Finance and HR business partners. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with strong communication, planning, and ownership skills. Problem‑solving and results‑oriented mindset with excellent organizational abilities. Proficiency in French and English; additional European languages are a plus. Knowledge of HRIS, preferably Workday, and proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
