Purpose of the Use For our industrial braking activity, develop new electrical/electronic products from design to qualification and market launch, ensuring compliance with cost, quality, and lead time criteria. Modify existing product designs as part of continuous improvement or to add options/features at customer request (Adaptation of Standard Electrical/Electronic Products). Labour Relations Reporting to the site's Research and Development manager, with close collaboration with the R&D team, sales, product management, purchasing, industrialization, after-sales, and production departments. Occasional direct contact with French/foreign customers and subcontractors regarding specifications. Description of Significant Activities Participate in defining preliminary projects. Understand customer requirements and specifications (French or English). Formalize technical specifications for subcontracting management. Lead the development of new electrical/electronic products following best practices. Create manufacturing files for new product industrialization. Design and model PCBs, produce manufacturing files (Diptrace, Target). Prepare files justifying security levels of electrical/electronic products, if required. Organize qualification phases in collaboration with Testing Department and contribute to their implementation. Develop schedules, bills of materials, and ensure adherence to cost, quality, and deadlines. Contribute to technical data sheets and marketing materials. Report project progress regularly. Engage in technology monitoring and innovation activities. Responsibilities and Scope of Action Design or adapt reliable electrical/electronic assemblies. Ensure product designs comply with validation phases per ISO procedures and coordinate with technical teams. Consider safety, ergonomics, and environmental aspects in designs. Propose innovations. Finalize manufacturing files. Specific Professional Knowledge Advanced training in electrical/electronics with solid experience. Component knowledge. Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet, Modbus TCP, etc.). Basic knowledge of network computing. Fundamentals in disciplines like Mechanics, Hydraulics, Electrical Engineering. Proficiency with ERP and Office tools.
