Global Marketing Manager Pet Preventives

Within our Global Marketing & Market Development Department (GM&MD), based in Virbac headquarters in Carros (06) we are looking for our :Belonging to the Global Marketing and Medical Department under the responsibility of the Global Companion Animals Pharma and Bio Director.Within the context of the global animal health market and the group strategy, our Global Marketing Manager for Pet Preventatives (Parasiticides and Vaccines) is responsible for the development and implementation of a global marketing strategy which focuses resources on maximizing profit contribution, optimizing market shares, net margin and commercial budgets for Pet Preventatives, in agreement with national marketing directors, while continuously providing market input and looking for new Business opportunities. In addition, our Global Marketing Manager is in charge of bringing new products ideas and projects to fuel the pipeline for both Parasiticides and Vaccines business.Your main responsibilities will be :Portfolio management, development and optimization : in charge of the brand building and optimization of the range (key drivers of global profit contribution growth, streamlining, extension of range, country specific recommendations)Strategic planning (Budget & 3 year plan) : define objectives, discuss ambitions and make recommendations in particular on pricing, positioning and commercial strategies / tactics to improve our sales and profit contributionNew product introduction & Launch preparations : you manage the interface with innovation, market and business development teams to prepare new launches (full launching toolkit to affiliates) in the best possible timing. You participate and enrich innovation pipeline, making sure that market needs are taken into considerationOperational Marketing expert for the assigned portfolio : you develop the Pet Parasiticides and Vaccines culture within the group, foster exchanges between affiliates and put into place the right strategies and tactics to grow the business. You coordinate the marketing and medical support with the help of a junior marketing manager and a medical manager.Financial acumen and advanced understanding of P&L, profitability management and analysis to guarantee the long term success of the Virbac Parasiticides and Vaccines business, in line with our strategic objectives. Therefore you manage both market and financial performance indicators.Your profile :Pet Parasiticides or Vaccines marketing background, Veterinary or agricultural engineer, with at least 5-10 years of marketing, sales or technical experience in the Veterinary industry. Customer experienced, at least some period in the field. You have also financial acumen (ROI, NPV, EBIT, ...) & sound decision maker.Your personality is key :People leadership (in particular communication & influence) is key to drive your activities and also build strong and warm relationships by encouraging dialogueYou lead implementation by demonstrating a customer driven mindset and result orientation. Autonomous, independent, results oriented, showing courage & leading change.
