Category Manager

Overview Category Manager – Global Distribution of audiovisual solutions within the TD SYNNEX France organization. Directly supporting the Business Unit Maverick, you will manage product and supplier lifecycle, pricing strategies, and vendor relationships for a portfolio of educational, corporate, and retail audiovisual solutions. Responsibilities Support end-to-end product and supplier lifecycle management, ensuring data accuracy and adoption across the platform. Collaborate on supplier pricing strategy, working with the Profit team to manage exceptions and pricing adjustments. Coordinate shipment and billing processes with the central team in Barcelona. Partner with the purchasing team to manage provisions and stock allocation. Produce sales and inventory reports with Business Intelligence, determining the appropriate execution plan based on results. Achieve quarterly gross margin objectives both in absolute terms and as a percentage. Maintain operational relationships with supplier peers, discussing future products, forecasts, planning processes, and sales. Develop and execute the business plan in collaboration with supplier commercial leaders. Provide commercial support for pricing, shipment, billing, and product questions. Qualifications Excellent numerical and analytical skills. Strong time‑management and prioritization abilities. Effective communication skills. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel; solid knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook. Customer‑focus mindset. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and precision. Knowledge of product portfolios and technologies in the IT industry (channels, suppliers, programs, and competition). Experience with SAP R3 and Business Warehouse is a plus. Experience in e‑commerce systems. Preferable experience in a technology company, and distribution or supplier background. Degree or related business discipline is desirable.
