Originator France – Southern European Origination

Your roleYou will report to the Head of Origination France, be based in Statkraft’s Paris office and work within a team of dynamic and skilled originators. The key aspects of the role are the end‑to‑end origination of new business for France supporting to manage the existing portfolio as well as business development.ResponsibilitiesIdentify, develop, negotiate and execute structured energy transactions with embedded optionality in the French markets with a focus on long‑term battery offtake agreementsContribute to pricing of BESS income streams including ancillary markets revenues and optimise performanceContribute to the scaling up of the portfolio of other non‑standard power multi‑commodity and guarantees of origin (GoO) contracts in the French marketContribute to the knowledge build‑up of market fundamentals / understanding of power and GoOs in FranceDevelop and maintain relationships with large buyers of electricity such as industrials corporates suppliers / retailersDevelop and maintain relationships with upstream generators IPPs project developers investors banks utilities and merchant tradersWork closely with the other Origination and Portfolio Management team members for new deal origination structuring and pricing in order to grow and optimize the portfolioManage entire deal approval process with internal stakeholders and take full front‑to‑end ownership of implementation of new deals and products and contract management over the lifetimeRequirementsPossess a curiosity and continuous drive to uncover opportunities.
