About the job Decentralized Identity (DID) SpecialistDecentralized Identity (DID) SpecialistDesigning, developing, and implementing decentralized identity solutions leveraging blockchain and trust ecosystemsPosition OverviewWe are seeking a forward-thinking Decentralized Identity Specialist with expertise in Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs), digital wallets, and trust ecosystems. This role involves architecting and deploying self-sovereign identity (SSI) solutions that empower users with control over their digital identities while enhancing security and privacy.You will collaborate with security architects, blockchain developers, and business stakeholders to build interoperable, user-centric identity frameworks based on emerging decentralized identity standards.Key ResponsibilitiesDecentralized Identity ArchitectureDesign and implement DID-based identity solutions aligned with W3C DID standardsDevelop and integrate digital wallets for identity credential storage and managementEstablish trust frameworks and governance models for decentralized identity ecosystemsSolution Development & IntegrationCollaborate with blockchain teams to leverage distributed ledger technologies for identity verificationIntegrate decentralized identity solutions with existing enterprise IAM and access control systemsDevelop APIs and SDKs to enable applications to interact with DIDs and verifiable credentialsSecurity & PrivacyEnsure privacy-preserving identity management in compliance with relevant regulationsImplement cryptographic techniques for secure credential issuance, presentation, and verificationConduct threat modeling and risk assessments related to decentralized identity deploymentsStay updated on decentralized identity standards, protocols, and emerging technologiesParticipate in industry consortia, standards bodies, and pilot projects related to DIDs and SSIDrive innovation by evaluating new tools, frameworks, and best practicesRequired QualificationsProven experience with Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs) and Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) conceptsFamiliarity with digital wallet technologies and verifiable credentialsUnderstanding of blockchain/distributed ledger technologies (Hyperledger Indy, Ethereum, etc.)Knowledge of cryptographic principles relevant to identity (public key infrastructure, zero-knowledge proofs)Preferred QualificationsExperience working with standards organizations such as W3C, DIF, or Trust over IP FoundationHands-on experience with DID method implementations (e.g., did:ethr, did:key, did:web)Background in IAM, cybersecurity, or blockchain developmentFamiliarity with privacy regulations and decentralized governance modelsExcellent communication skills to liaise between technical teams and business units #J-18808-Ljbffr
