Get AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features. 🧭 Your mission In direct collaboration with Nicolas Texier, Cofounder & CTO, you will design and deliver the perception stack of our robot — from sensor selection to data fusion — with a strong focus on AI performance, robustness, and safety. Your mission will take place at a decisive stage for Marso: building our first production‑ready robots and preparing the scale‑up toward Series A. ⚙️ Key Responsibilities Select & Qualify Sensors – Compare sensing technologies (depth cameras, IMU, radar…), identify key characteristics, talk with suppliers, and select the right sensors to evaluate in real conditions. Integrate Sensors – Work with design and hardware teams on physical integration, develop drivers and calibration routines, and build preprocessing pipelines with regard to robustness, safety, and robot constraints. Fuse & Process Data – Develop algorithms for sensor fusion (filtering, estimation, reliability assessment), synchronize multiple sensor streams, and prepare data for downstream decision and AI modules. Test, Qualify & Improve – Run field tests on prototypes and production units, diagnose issues, evaluate performance, and continuously improve the perception stack through iterative development and validation. Document & Communicate – Maintain clear technical documentation, share findings with the team, and contribute to architecture and roadmap discussions. 🧠 Profile Engineering degree (or equivalent) in robotics, automatic control, estimation, or related field. 2 to 5 years of experience in demanding environments (robotics, hardware products, R&D…). Solid foundations in simulation, control, sensor fusion, and perception. Hands‑on mindset, rigor, teamwork, and appetite for real‑world challenges. Motivation to join an ambitious industrial adventure where every decision matters. A valid work authorization in France is required for this position. Envie de contribuer à une aventure industrielle ambitieuse, où chaque choix compte. Une autorisation de travail en France est nécessaire pour ce poste.
