About the Role: We’re looking for a Country Procurement Lead who’s ready to take charge of local sourcing for Mobile Devices. This role is all about connecting the dots between global procurement strategies and what’s happening on the ground in the allocated countries. You’ll be the go‑to person for local insights, supplier relationships matters, and making sure we’re delivering the best value possible. You’ll be part of a global telecom joint venture, working closely within central procurement teams, with local stakeholders, and top‑tier suppliers. Your mission? Help us make smart sourcing decisions that work both globally and locally. 📊 Know the Market Inside Out Be the local expert on telecom hardware—know the trends, the pricing, and what the competition’s up to. Keep an eye on spending, supplier performance, and pricing benchmarks. Spot risks and opportunities early by staying on top of market shifts. 🤝 Work with People, Not Just Processes Build strong relationships with local procurement and commercial teams. Make sure local needs are heard in global strategy discussions. Team up with central and regional sourcing folks to keep everyone aligned. 💼 Manage Suppliers Like a Pro Support negotiations with local suppliers to get the best deals. Share local pricing insights with global teams to help them close big deals. Help shape creative sourcing strategies that deliver real value. 🔄 Share What Works Spread the word on what’s working locally—success stories, lessons learned, and best practices. Help improve sourcing processes and negotiation playbooks. Be a connector across countries, making sure we’re all learning from each other. What We’re Looking For A degree in Business, Procurement, Telecom, or something similar. 5+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supplier management—ideally in telecom or tech. You’re ready to become the expert on procurement topics related to your allocated countries. Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and navigating complex organizations. Strong with numbers and tools like Excel or Power BI, and confident building contents & presenting to execs. Fluent in both French and English (spoken and written).
