Teciem is looking for a Toolkit Consultant to join the Professional Services team and deliver interesting projects on the Sophis and Sophis Invest solutions. This role will be instrumental in improving customer satisfaction by providing high value services. This person will have historic hands-on experience with technology and systems and have progressed into a strong technical expertise role. Summary

Reporting to the Lead Technical Consultant, the Toolkit Consultant will provide services around Sophis Invest and Sophis products, including but not limited to:

  • Understand the customer work process and usecases
  • Make the link between business users needs and solution capabilities
  • Design solutions to satisfy the Customers requirements after a strong analysis and review of the usecases
  • Implement the new custom development for the customer and provide support to use them.
  • Learn new features and design/recommend best practices
  • Train other consultants and clients on area of expertise
  • Provide feedback and discuss with the Core development teams to better support the solution capabilities
  • Provide input for the development of standards, tools, processes, documentation and templates to standardize and improve the execution of tasks and to aid training of new consultants
  • Be part of special assignments such as performance optimization or seamless integration

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • A degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
  • Previous experience implementing development for financial product.
  • Experience within a financial company and/ord good understanding of market finance processes.
  • Buy side experience is a plus.
  • Professional services experience with a financial software vendor is a plus.
  • Previous experiences of Sophis Invest/Sophis knowledge OR experience with competing or similar financial software solutions is a plus.
  • Outstanding relationship management and communication skills
  • Regular use of programming language C#/.NET and C++
  • Regular user of MS Excel, and proficient or sophisticated technical skills on technologies such as MongoDB, SQL (on Oracle), XML
  • Knowledge of additional tools like Jenkins, Nomad, Consul, Kubernetes, Docker, Confluence and JIRA is a plus
  • Understand and practice of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Good Windows skills (administrator or advanced user)
  • ITIL Certified or experience other ITSM systems will be a plus
