This includes the development and implementation of tactical plans which achieve the strategic objectives of both the short‑ and long‑term business plans of the organization.Functional Job ResponsibilitiesConduct research and analysis of business opportunities through market research, financial feasibility studies, and planning consistent with the organization’s long‑range and strategic plans.Identify market opportunities and work with the technical teams to grow profitable revenue for the company.Serve as a liaison with KBR counterparts on cross‑business unit opportunities. Strong communication skills are a mustDevelop the opportunity through diligent and timely influencing of customers and leveraging current technologies, past performance, customer intimacies, and inter‑company collaboration.Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to identify customer objectives, priorities, and requirements and align company capabilities as an innovative industry leader.Develop and maintain strong industry relations with large and small businesses with significant presence in assigned markets.Conduct competitive analysis.Develop, document, and implement effective win strategies supporting the business unit strategy for defined areas of responsibility.Manage and execute the full BD life‑cycle process across multiple simultaneous pursuits and proposals.Develop and write marketing collateral, white papers, and RFI responses.Demonstrate solid business acumen in all pursuit decisions.Participate in the identification of potential acquisition targets.Actively participate in key industry associations.Work EnvironmentLocation: RemoteTravel Requirements: 25%Working Hours: StandardMinimum QualificationsUndergraduate degree in a Business or Science Technology Engineering, and Math (STEM) (or related field) with a minimum of twenty (20+) years of experienceTen (10)+ years of US Army, US Air Force, US Space Force, US Navy, Marine Corps, USSOCOM, COCOM, or Joint Staff experienceTen (10) + years of experience in DoW Operations or RDT&E programs.Requires in-depth knowledge of the Department of War (DoW) acquisition process and new PEO structures, roles, and responsibilities.Experience in briefing senior leadership, preparing and presenting information to prospective clients and technical leaders.Security Clearance: current Secret security clearance.Preferred QualificationsMaster’s degree is desiredDirector‑level related leadership experience desired (DoW or Commercial).Desired experience in business development processes from customer gap, architecting solutions, through guiding overall themes for proposal development, negotiation, preparation of internal approval documents, and contract signature.Security Clearance: Top Secret is desiredBelong, Connect and Grow at KBRKBR is an equal opportunity employer.
