You’ll design, build, and operate the server technology that powers our next‑generation online experiences.This role is ideal for someone who thrives on low‑latency systems, distributed architectures, DevOps automation, and high‑performance C/C++ development.In this role, your missions will be the following:Develop and maintain scalable game servers.Implement server-side logic for online multiplayer games.Monitor and optimize server performance.Implement security measures to protect game data.QualificationsProven experience developing game servers or backend systems for large‑scale online games.Experience shipping at least one online multiplayer title or operating a live service.Strong proficiency in C/C++, with additional experience in C#, Python.Deep understanding of network protocols, client/server architecture, and real‑time multiplayer constraints.Hands‑on experience with DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, etc.).Strong Linux skills, including shell scripting and system administration.Additional InformationUbisoft's perks💰 Profit Sharing, yearly company saving plan. 25 paid time off + 12 additional paid days off. 50% of your transportation pass is paid by the company, lunch vouchers (9€/day), healthcare for you and your family, and lots of Ubisoft additional perks.👶 Maternity leaves of 20 weeks, paternity/co-parental leaves of 7 weeks.📍 Our office is located in Saint Mandé, (Metro line 1, Saint Mandé station).
