Position: Product Manager - Ruminant Specialisation (M/F)
Permanent Contract (CDI) - Based iin Brittany, France
Your Role
Reporting to the Technical & Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and managing the ruminant product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support
- Provide species-specific technical expertise, supporting sales teams and customers with field-related challenges.
- Assist in organising technical seminars and implementing field trials (protocol validation, monitoring, and analysis).
- Support sales teams in the field, presenting products to formulators, nutritionists, and key clients.
- Act as a subject matter expert, continuously developing both personal and organisational knowledge.
- Write technical content for the website and specialised trade publications.
- Deliver technical training sessions to sales teams.
- Encourage collaboration between regional sales teams.
- Participate in trade shows and scientific conferences.
Operational Marketing
- Promote product features and performance through tailored marketing materials (presentations, brochures, reports, articles, and white papers).
- Collect and relay market and customer insights in collaboration with sales teams.
- Develop a species-specific strategy addressing current and future challenges.
- Contribute to shaping and adapting the product offering based on local market needs.
- Ensure alignment between innovation projects and market opportunities in collaboration with product development teams.
- Monitor technical trends and competitive developments.
- Lead the launch and commercialisation of new products.
Your Profile
- Degree in Animal Production Engineering or related field, with a strong interest in the sector.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
- Good command of English.
- Willingness to travel internationally approximately once per month.
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and organised.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Team-oriented with solid experience in the ruminant sector.
