Job Description
We are looking for a Rotor System Design Work Package Manager for H225/H215 joining the Rotor System Design team in Marignane. Join us to shape the future of aeronautics and help protect lives during missions accomplished thanks to our helicopters. The Marignane site, the 3rd largest industrial site in France, near Marseille and Aix-en-Provence, is undergoing a deep transformation to offer a high-tech, inclusive, and environmentally friendly working environment. Your future missions: By joining our dynamic team, you will dive into the heart of helicopter performance. You will drive a variety of critical activities centered entirely on Rotor Systems of Super Puma to start: from pioneering designs evolution and managing change design activities including corrective measures following in service events, to providing hands‑on technical support for manufacturing, assembly, the flight line, laboratories, and flight tests. You will be part of an agile nWoW (new Way of Working) environment, operating within the Operational Squads and the MCT (Métier Core Team). You will join a diverse group of highly experienced experts who thrive on continuous improvement, knowledge exchange, and technical excellence in rotor dynamics. As a Super Puma Work Package Manager at the core of the Rotor System Design team, you will coordinate an operational team of several dedicated specialists. You will be empowered to: Drive the team to deliver cutting‑edge rotor products, systems, and services in strict alignment with the mission letter. Inspire team adherence to the mission, ensuring absolute clarity and focus at all times. Actively manage relationships and workload with key stakeholders and customers. Engage closely with the Metier to guarantee technical standards and methodologies. Lead and participate in sprint iterations, system reviews, demos, and retrospectives. Report strategic progress directly to Squad Leaders and the Head of Department. Manage our make or buy design activities.
Your future missions

Your technical missions at the heart of Rotor Systems will include
- Leading the design and redesign of complex Rotor Systems, driving detailed design phases while guaranteeing absolute compliance with safety, performance, manufacturability, assembly, and reliability requirements.
- Steering the substantiation process through rigorous analysis and active involvement in flight, ground, and bench tests (from request and preparation to real‑time attendance and final conclusions).
- Producing critical technical documentation, including Permit to Fly documents, requiring direct and high‑level technical discussions with EASA and other airworthiness authorities.
- Driving maintenance engineering through the creation, update, or extension of maintenance manuals for rotor components.
- Capitalizing on critical knowledge to secure the future of our rotor technologies.
As a central hub for rotor technology, your squad will constantly interface with
- Key AH departments: Ground and Flight Tests, Material and Expertise Laboratories, Production Preparation, Loads, Thermal, and other critical systems (Blades, Flight Controls, Transmissions, Airframe, etc.).
- Purchasing, Support, Projects, and Program management.
- Various AH sites (Paris Le Bourget, Donauwörth).
- Subcontracting partners and global suppliers.
Any of the following skills & experience would be plus
- More than 5 years of experience in AH design office
- Experience in certification
- Experience in leading and managing
- Language skills: German
