We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical intern to join our Strategy and M&A team under the guidance of Deezers Chief Strategy Officer.As an intern you will have the unique opportunity to work closely with a team composed of 3 people coming from diverse backgrounds including consulting and M&A gaining hands-on experience in the dynamic and rapidly evolving music streaming industry.This role offers exposure to critical strategic initiatives and the chance to contribute to the companys growth.This is a 6-month internship starting in January 2026.What you will doMarket Research : Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify trends competitive landscape and emerging opportunities in the music streaming and entertainment industryStrategic Planning : Collaborate with the team to develop and refine corporate strategies including market entry growth and expansion plansPresentations : Prepare and contribute to presentations for senior leadership summarising findings recommendations and insightsDue Diligence : Assist in conducting due diligence on potential M&A targets including financial analysis market positioning and risk assessmentCross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with teams across the organization including finance legal and product to support the execution of strategic initiativesQualificationsYou are currently in a final year or gap year (césure) at a top tier business or engineering schoolA first experience with a well-known international consulting firm or in corporate finance (investment banking private equity) would be highly appreciatedYou have strong analytical skills with excellent research and problem-solving abilitiesAble to work in a fast paced collaborative and international environmentYou have excellent written and oral communication skills both in English and in FrenchYou are attracted by the tech / start-up environment and a passion for the music and entertainment industry is a plusProficiency in Powerpoint and ExcelIf you dont meet 100% of the qualifications outlined above tell us why youd still be a great fit for this role in your applicationAdditional InformationAt Deezer you can be your true self as we believe that #everyvoicematters.
