About the Role

The Lead FinOps role focuses on helping clients control and optimize cloud spend across their environments. You will define the organization, processes, and tools needed to embed FinOps into everyday team practices, with a particular emphasis on cloud cost management and IaaS resources. You will work closely with client IT teams, finance teams, and architects to keep spending predictable while maintaining technical stability. Assignments are delivered at major CAC40 clients in aeronautics, aerospace, defense, security, and digital identity/security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze cloud expenditure and drive cost optimization actions, especially on IaaS services.
  • Build the FinOps operating model by defining the required organization, processes, and tooling.
  • Deploy and manage tools to track cost trends, identify anomalies, and compare actual spend against forecasts.
  • Support the design of new services in a cost-effective way and optimize existing services.
  • Work with client stakeholders to maintain predictable spending and stable technical environments.

Required Skills

  • Background as an infrastructure and automation consultant.
  • Engineering degree or Master’s degree (M2) in computer science.
  • First professional experience with Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, and Python.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and Kubernetes.
  • Fluent in French and English.Excellent interpersonal skills, strong service orientation, and a focus on quality.
  • Comfortable working in a team environment.
