Industrial and Logistics Manager Location: Chavanoz, France (38) – Posted 6 days ago. Role Overview Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will launch and schedule production orders to ensure quantity, quality, and compliance with customer deadlines. You will oversee the smooth running of product shipments by tracking transport orders and visit the field to ensure schedules and customer priorities are met. Responsibilities Confirm order deadlines provided by the sales department. Schedule and launch new Production Orders and monitor them throughout their lifecycle (including balance, reminders, subcontractor rejects, etc.) for internal and external production. Check feasibility: timeframe, raw materials, tools, capacity. Plan material supplies for your sector. Ensure supply of consumables, specific packaging, and subcontracting. Request necessary information from internal suppliers (procurement, MP, manager) or external suppliers. Organize work schedules based on machine and personnel capacities, optimizing production by grouping similar products while meeting customer deadlines. Track delays and commercial complaints. Update and monitor indicators and tracking files: significant delays, ongoing cases, reminder files, etc. Setup and monitor transport (transport orders, carrier relations, disputes). Enter shipping documents (delivery notes, warehouse loading notes, export documents) for domestic and international shipments. Receive drivers and manage transport documents (CMR). Manage customer returns. Analyze inventory to optimize transportation and ensure service levels. Respond to shipping requests from sales and supply chain departments. Qualifications Two- or three-year college degree. At least 2–5 years of experience in a similar position. MRP knowledge. Intermediate Excel skills. English proficiency is a plus.
