Segment Owner - Self‑Serve Alan’s vision is to make prevention the new norm of care for all. We partner with 35K+ companies of all sizes, serve more than 950K+ members, and have reached 680M+ in ARR. Segment Owner Role Self‑serve segment owners are accountable for one of the segments. This is a highly strategic role responsible for defining and executing the complete go‑to‑market strategy for the segment. Key Missions Strategic planning & execution• Identify growth bottlenecks and new market opportunities, prioritise short‑term (weekly/monthly/quarterly) and long‑term (2‑3 year) horizons.• Set bottom‑up targets.• Deliver weekly segment performance updates including target achievement, ARR, churn and gross profit metrics. Product marketing & channel enablement• Provide deep insights on customer personas, market dynamics, pain points and needs.• Maintain a continuous customer pulse through interviews and call reviews to inform hypotheses and prioritisation.• Craft a differentiated positioning and competitive advantages to accelerate acquisition.• Empower channel owners across paid advertising, SEO, partnerships and referral programs.• Evaluate and provide feedback on channel proposals and initiatives.• Act as an accelerator for channel owners, providing rapid deep‑dive support (e.g., SEA optimisation, conversion analysis) and building segment‑specific assets (email campaigns, landing pages, lead magnets). Product & Data• Surface segment‑specific feature requirements and tracking/analytics needs.• Continuously improve performance dashboards, leveraging AI & Data team assistance.• Contribute to cross‑functional topics (e.g., legal setup considerations, guarantee/renewal inputs) and partner with business stakeholders to ensure segment profitability. Who We’re Looking For At least 5 years of experience in product marketing. Experience in strategic business development and/or go‑to‑market (a plus). Full French and English fluency (written and spoken). Strong analytical skills—comfortable building dashboards and using AI assistants for data analysis. Entrepreneurial & growth mindset: a self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑moving environment. Exposure to pricing/packaging and unit economics; ability to reason about profitability. Collaborative, able to influence cross‑functional teams. Experience working with small business and individual customer segments (a plus).
