Senior DCS Commissioning Specialist X/ F/H

As part of a major industrial project within the energy and process industry sector, we are looking for a Senior DCS Commissioning Specialist to lead all Distributed Control System (DCS) activities during the pre-commissioning and commissioning phases of a large-scale industrial installation.

You will act as the on-site DCS authority, ensuring the successful reception, energization, validation, and optimization of the automation and control systems. Working closely with commissioning teams, instrumentation engineers, electrical specialists, and project stakeholders, you will play a key role in ensuring system readiness and operational reliability.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading DCS reception, energization, and commissioning activities.
• Verifying DCS configuration and architecture against project specifications.
• Reviewing and validating control logic and functional sequences.
• Supporting loop check activities and troubleshooting control system issues.
• Implementing modifications within the DCS environment to ensure compliance with process and instrumentation requirements.
• Coordinating with multidisciplinary commissioning teams and providing technical guidance.
• Completing commissioning records, test procedures, and quality documentation.
• Ensuring safe execution of commissioning activities while maintaining project standards and schedule objectives.
• Reporting progress, risks, and corrective actions to project management.

Short business trips across European engineering and project offices may be required.

• Strong experience with Yokogawa DCS platforms.
• Ability to work autonomously in an international project environment.
• Leadership skills with the ability to coordinate technical teams.
