In the context of the road and structures division, the Quality Assurance and Road Policy Analyst is responsible for overseeing the functionality and upkeep of major traffic routes. This role entails providing technical insights into road infrastructure and monitoring the region's assets. The Analyst collaborates with a team of two professionals in the study office under the road service, ensuring adherence to Bordeaux Métropole's road policies concerning technical specifications and material quality, all within a framework of sustainable development.
The Analyst also offers guidance and evaluations on development initiatives or maintenance tasks and addresses any potential legal matters within the metropolitan jurisdiction. Additionally, they manage specialized technical services and play a role in updating the Metropolitan Guide, Technical Specifications Guide, and General Road Regulations.
Furthermore, they engage in technological monitoring and suggest innovations in road infrastructure. The Analyst is responsible for managing public contracts, which includes preparing technical documentation, evaluating proposals, and drafting analysis reports, while ensuring compliance with road policy.
Moreover, they lead and participate in internal technical discussions at Bordeaux Métropole, ensuring effective communication of information, and may also be involved in training initiatives.
