Senior Business Analyst for ALM Solutions

Join our team as a Senior Business Analyst specializing in Asset and Liability Management (ALM) solutions at Inetum Capital Market. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with our IT project and maintenance teams to enhance and support the Fermat ALM and Risk Authority (Moody's) software, focusing on the ALM regulatory landscape and Basel 3 liquidity requirements. You will thrive in an Agile environment dedicated to financial software development.

Your key responsibilities will encompass:

  • Analyzing and articulating business requirements
  • Partnering with project stakeholders to devise IT solutions
  • Engaging with business users to ascertain functional needs
  • Drafting comprehensive and detailed functional specifications or user stories
  • Assisting the development team in executing solutions
  • Defining the scope of functional testing performed by IT
  • Creating and executing functional test plans
  • Managing corrective maintenance requests
  • Providing Level 3 application support to both business users and IT
  • Updating documentation to reflect any changes made

Essential technical skills include:

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies: SFG, SFD, or User Stories
  • Experience in creating test scenarios and test cases
  • Strong understanding of IT systems and proficiency in SQL
  • Knowledge of ALM and/or Basel 3 liquidity domains
  • Experience in Agile and V cycle project methodologies
  • Excellent communication skills for conducting workshops
  • Outstanding writing abilities, with a proactive, organized, and adaptable approach
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

Deliverables for this role will include:

  • General Functional Specification Document
  • Detailed Functional Specification Document or User Stories (Agile)
  • Test protocols and Test Plans
  • Functional and non-regression test reports
  • Summaries of workshops conducted
  • Updates to documentation as necessary

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Engineering or a related field, with 2 to 5 years of experience in C#/.NET development, ideally within the Finance sector
  • Strong knowledge of ALM and Basel 3 liquidity
  • Proficiency in English is essential for this international position
