Senior Solutions Architect - Public Sector

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join our team in France, focusing on the public sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from public sector customers, including central and local government, national security, and defense.

As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will have ownership of the technical relationship with customers, providing recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability, operational efficiency, and best-practice architectures. You will also be an advocate for customers, helping to drive continual improvements to the AWS platform and sharing their needs and wants to inform the roadmap of AWS services and features.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, building, and refactoring IT systems on premises or in the cloud
  • Working with customers to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions
  • Collaborating with internal teams, such as Service Teams, Professional Services, and Support, to deliver successful outcomes
  • Developing and sharing best practices, technical content, and new reference architectures
  • Evangelizing and educating about AWS technology through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos, or conferences

A day in the life of a Senior Solutions Architect involves working with a diverse range of customers, from those already experienced in cloud services to those just starting their cloud journey. You will have regular opportunities to learn about new services and solutions, develop your skills through internal and external events, and contribute to the growth and development of the Solutions Architecture organization.
