Job Overview

CONTEXT
Safran Aircraft Engines (SAE) is currently undergoing significant growth in its Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) operations.

This expansion involves delegating certain MRO tasks (Shop Visits) to joint-venture or external partners, forming a network of Offload collaborators.

Effective cost management of these offloaded operations is crucial for maintaining the profitability of our clients' agreements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish SAP projects for Offloaded Shop Visits and generate corresponding SAE Purchase Orders to Offload partners, ensuring the correct items are specified as per the Offload agreements.
  • Oversee the verification of invoices received from Offload Partners, collaborating with SAE Purchasers (to ensure adherence to Offload agreements) and SAE Engine Owners (to confirm compliance with shop findings and actual execution of shop visits).
  • Update SAP with details of the Offload services rendered.
Analyze Shop Visit Costs and track cost changes throughout the Shop Visit process (gates) by collecting the following data:
o External costs incurred from Offload partners
o Repair expenses for LRUs and Parts when processed within the Safran Aircraft Engines supply chain.

  • Communicate cost components promptly to the team responsible for quoting and billing to end customers (PEC, Pôle d'Expertise Commerciale).
Job Requirements

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Proven experience in cost management and project oversight.
  • Proficient in IT tools such as SAP, Power BI, and MS Excel.
  • Familiarity with the MRO sector, with a solid technical grasp of various shop visit scenarios.
  • Understanding of aircraft engines is a beneficial asset.
