Position Overview:

This internship is part of the CPU Performance Analysis and Micro-architecture Modeling team, which consists of a diverse group of experts and emerging talents. Our work bridges the gap between software and hardware, addressing all performance-related aspects of CPUs developed within our center, from initial microarchitectural studies to the final product verification.

We offer a range of internship projects tailored to your skills and interests. Each project presents unique challenges, requiring a strong interest in advanced technologies, a solid understanding of computer systems, and exceptional analytical abilities.

Internship topics may include, but are not limited to:

  • Micro-architectural studies (e.g., cache policies, data prefetching, branch prediction)
  • Development of specific features or optimizations in micro-architectural models
  • Enhancements to performance analysis techniques or verification processes

Required Qualifications:
  • Understanding of CPU microarchitecture
  • Familiarity with UNIX and shell programming
  • Proficiency in English
Preferred Qualifications:

Depending on the internship focus, additional skills that may be beneficial include:

  • Programming experience in C and/or Python
  • Knowledge of VHDL and/or Verilog
  • Basic understanding of Data Science principles
