About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Posture Management Engineer Manager to join our team at Datadog. As a key member of our Cloud Security team, you will be responsible for managing a team of backend engineers and working closely with other teams to build and maintain our Cloud Security Posture Management product.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of 5+ backend engineers and work closely with other teams to build and maintain our Cloud Security Posture Management product.
  • Contribute to the development of our Cloud Security Posture Management backend, adding functionality and debugging issues.
  • Work with and mentor engineers on your team, helping them develop their skills and grow as professionals.
  • Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to get early feedback on features and learn what features customers need.
  • Help raise the bar on the quality of our code and the stability of our services.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of software development experience and the ability to write production-ready code in multiple languages such as Java, Python, and Go.
  • Direct people management experience or a strong desire to develop as an engineering leader.
  • Excellent communication skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to collaborate with and coach folks from different cultures.
  • A technical polyglot with the ability to work across various stacks and languages, including high-volume, distributed systems.
