The Role
Job Overview:
At Arm Limited, we're seeking a highly skilled Technical Director to lead our SOC Design methodology initiatives within the Solutions Engineering team. As part of this role, you'll drive the definition and automation of our SOC integration and verification methodologies, working closely with our SOC Engineering teams and techleads to define requirements and implement end-to-end flows leveraging our Design Enablement Software resources.
Responsibilities:
As Technical Director, you'll be responsible for:
- Defining and automating SOC integration and verification methodologies
- Collaborating with SOC Engineering teams and techleads to define requirements and implement end-to-end flows
- Developing and maintaining Design Enablement Software resources
- Leading global teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Comprehensive knowledge of EDA flows used for SoC system integration and verification
- Excellent knowledge of IP-XACT, System Verilog, CDC, and other industry standards
- Strong skills in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, and PHP, and version control flows like SVN, Git, and Gerrit
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Nice to Have:
Experience with High-Level Synthesis (HLS), IP protection and export restrictions, and functional safety standards including ISO 26262 would be beneficial.
