The Role

Job Overview:

At Arm Limited, we're seeking a highly skilled Technical Director to lead our SOC Design methodology initiatives within the Solutions Engineering team. As part of this role, you'll drive the definition and automation of our SOC integration and verification methodologies, working closely with our SOC Engineering teams and techleads to define requirements and implement end-to-end flows leveraging our Design Enablement Software resources.

Responsibilities:

As Technical Director, you'll be responsible for:

  • Defining and automating SOC integration and verification methodologies
  • Collaborating with SOC Engineering teams and techleads to define requirements and implement end-to-end flows
  • Leading the development of Design Enablement Software resources
  • Ensuring the delivery of high-quality, fully traceable solutions leveraging internal and external EDA tooling solutions

Required Skills/Experiences:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of EDA flows used for SoC system integration and verification
  • Excellent knowledge of IP-XACT, System Verilog, CDC, and other industry standards
  • Knowledge of machine-readable specifications, continuous integration, and continuous delivery
  • Strong skills in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, and PHP, and flows used for version control such as SVN, Git, and Gerrit
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven ability working with global teams and various stakeholders

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with High-Level Synthesis (HLS)
  • Experience with IP protection and export restrictions
  • Knowledge of functional safety standards, including ISO 26262
