Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Acid Gas & MEG Reclamation Technology Engineer to join our Low Carbon Solutions & Gas Group. This role will be based in Rueil Malmaison and will focus on natural gas treatment technologies, including gas sweetening and MEG reclamation, as well as carbon capture and sulfur recovery processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive technical proposals in response to bids for Process Design Packages (PDP) related to gas treatment, MEG regeneration, CO2 capture, and sulfur recovery.
- Maintain ongoing technical relationships with clients, conducting performance analyses and site visits as necessary.
- Contribute to the collection and analysis of knowledge pertaining to the processes under your responsibility, including operational feedback.
- Support sales teams by providing technical expertise during the proposal process and promoting relevant technologies through marketing initiatives.
- Enhance the LCSG Group's offerings by suggesting improvements based on market insights and project stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering design for gas treatment, sulfur recovery, or MEG recovery.
- Strong motivation to engage with Gas Treatment Technologies and CO2 capture processes.
- Experience in R&D, with proficiency in equipment sizing and simulation software (e.g., ProII, Hysis) being advantageous.
- Fluency in English or French is essential.
- Willingness to travel internationally for short durations as required.
