Axian Group is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to join its Open Innovation & Fintech cluster. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and developing effective compliance frameworks across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement compliance frameworks and policies to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify areas for improvement in compliance processes
  • Collaborate with senior management and the board to validate compliance framework documentation
  • Support local RCCP teams in identifying, assessing, mitigating, and reporting regulatory compliance and AML/CFT risks
  • Oversee AML/CFT controls and reporting on risk and suspicious transactions
  • Ensure local RCCP advises management on compliance requirements, remedies, and related controls
  • Verify that local training programs are respected and staff are accompanied
  • Review new product regulatory compliance and AML/CFT opinions made by local RCCP
  • Ensure recommendation follow-up, regulator or law enforcement enquiries are actioned upon
  • Create or review the quality of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Control Indicators (KCIs) related to Compliance
  • Deliver data-driven reports to regulatory and ARC
  • Support local RCCP teams and facilitate liaison between local RCCP and stakeholders and regulators
  • Elaborate minimum 8 trainings/year
  • Find ways to efficiently automate compliance management
  • Counsel and advise on industry knowledge, best practices, market trends, and watch
  • Enhance compliance risk culture across the Cluster

Requirements:

  • University degree in compliance, audit, control, business management
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in compliance, audit, risk, or control management in the financial sector
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Control methodology
  • Legal and regulatory environment and texts
  • Rigorous, organized, adaptable, analytical skills, writing, and communication skills, open-minded, pragmatic, and solution-driven, sound judgment
