Ceva Animal Health is seeking a highly skilled Data Science Leader to join our team and drive business growth through data-driven insights.
As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading a community of data scientists and analysts, designing and implementing data solutions, and communicating insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and mentoring a team of data scientists and analysts to achieve business goals and objectives.
- Defining and executing the data science vision and roadmap, aligning with business priorities.
- Designing and implementing data solutions using various techniques and tools, such as machine learning, statistical modeling, and data visualization.
- Analyzing and interpreting data to generate insights and actionable recommendations for business problems and opportunities.
- Communicating and presenting data findings and solutions to various audiences, including senior management, business partners, and customers.
- Establishing and maintaining Data Science best practices and standards.
- Researching and evaluating new data sources, methods, technologies, and trends in the data science field.
- Collaborating with other teams and departments to ensure data alignment and integration across the organization.
Requirements include:
- Master's degree or PhD in data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in data science, analytics, or related roles.
- At least 2 years of experience in leading or managing data science teams or projects.
- Proficient in Python, R, SQL, and other data science tools and languages.
- Expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, data mining, data visualization, and other data science techniques and methods.
- Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts and solutions to various audiences.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor a team of data professionals.
- Curious and passionate about data and innovation, with the ability to learn and adapt to new data challenges and opportunities.
