Position Overview
As a pivotal member of the International Flavors & Fragrances team, you will play a critical role in our growth journey. The recent integration of IFF and Frutarom has established us as a frontrunner in the domains of taste, scent, and nutrition, enabling us to offer a broader spectrum of natural solutions to our clientele.
Key Responsibilities
In your capacity as a Quality Control Analyst, your primary responsibilities will encompass:
- Conducting chemical, physical, and sensory evaluations of raw materials in accordance with established protocols.
- Performing routine equipment checks and executing minor maintenance tasks as required.
- Ensuring accurate labeling and appropriate storage of retained samples.
- Employing computerized inventory management systems alongside Microsoft Excel for data entry and analysis.
- Upholding laboratory cleanliness and organization in line with Good Laboratory Practices.
- Complying with relevant Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and Food Safety regulations.
- Engaging in various Quality Control activities and contributing to the continuous improvement of IFF's Quality framework.
Essential Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A solid understanding of basic mathematics, scientific principles, and quality-related terminology.
- Proficiency in computer applications, with experience in database management tools such as Microsoft Access and Excel.
- The capability to identify and rectify inspection discrepancies effectively.
Educational Background
A Bachelor's Degree in a Science-related discipline (such as chemistry, biology, or food science) is preferred, or a High School Diploma accompanied by 1-2 years of relevant experience in Food Manufacturing.
