Market Risk Officer Job Description

Are you passionate about risk management and financial analysis? Do you want to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and global organization?

MUFG Americas is seeking a highly skilled Market Risk Officer to join our team. As a Market Risk Officer, you will play a critical role in supporting the Risk Management Department in managing and monitoring the bank's market risk activities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of market risk data and reports.
  • Support the preparation and assurance of timely periodical management information reports.
  • Coordinate and escalate significant incidents to minimize consequences and facilitate recovery.
  • Contribute to the completion of the team's workload, including participation in Risk Committees.
  • Adapt to and identify changes in systems, processes, and working practices to achieve operational improvement.
Requirements
  • Thorough understanding of market risk activities and related regulations.
  • Experience in a similar function or relevant area, such as risk management.
  • Strong knowledge of market products, including MiFiD II products.
  • Excellent IT skills, including database management and desktop applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong interpersonal, networking, and communication skills.
