MUFG is seeking a highly skilled Market Risk Officer to join our Risk Management Unit in Paris. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Risk Management Department and ensuring the bank's market risk activities are properly managed and controlled.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure timely and accurate processing of daily workflow tasks;
- Support the preparation and assurance of management information reports on market risk transactions;
- Coordinate and escalate significant incidents to minimize consequences and facilitate recovery;
- Enter and verify market risk data in the bank's applications as required;
- Contribute to the completion of the team's workload, including participation in Risk Committees;
- Adapt to changes in systems, processes, and working practices to achieve operational improvement;
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members, including sharing best practices and ensuring compliance with bank rules and regulations.
- Thorough understanding of market risk activities and experience in a similar function or relevant area;
- Strong knowledge of risk management principles and practices, including market risk management;
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively;
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills, with the ability to build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders;
- Verbal and written communication skills in English are essential;
- Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to demonstrate sound judgment and make informed decisions.
