In this role, your primary responsibilities will encompass:
- Delivering exceptional customer service by warmly welcoming members and ensuring their needs are met.
- Preparing culinary items in accordance with Costco's established recipes and protocols to ensure member satisfaction.
- Complying with safety regulations and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Inspecting and organizing kitchen equipment, managing product displays, and ensuring proper product rotation.
- Contributing to the overall functionality of the food department and assisting in warehouse operations as required.
- Supporting various areas of the warehouse when necessary.
In the Bakery section, your responsibilities will include:
- Producing and baking a variety of baked goods in large quantities following Costco's recipes.
- Utilizing industrial-sized containers and specialized equipment such as pasta machines, muffin dosers, and mixers.
- Shaping, cutting, and rolling dough for breads and pastries, as well as decorating cakes to meet specific requirements.
- Interpreting and fulfilling special cake orders from members, reaching out for clarification when needed.
For prepared foods, your tasks will involve:
- Chopping vegetables and ingredients for salads, main courses, and garnishes.
- Cooking chicken, rotisserie items, and other dishes to meet Costco's quality standards.
- Following detailed recipes and visual guides for product presentation and quality assurance.
- Documenting temperatures, identifying damaged products, and managing inventory rotation.
- Enhancing the efficiency of the food department and providing assistance in other warehouse areas as needed.
Qualifications:
Exhibit a keen attention to detail, a systematic approach to tasks, and outstanding customer service abilities.
