About the Facility
MAS l'Alter Ego is staffed by a team of 77 professionals dedicated to serving 40 adolescents and adults diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related challenges, including intellectual disabilities, epilepsy, and behavioral issues. The facility comprises 20 residential spaces and 20 day care slots, with 10 of these being designated for alternative residential care.
Position Overview
In collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, which includes educational personnel, nursing staff, sports educators, psychomotor therapists, and psychologists, your role will involve assisting residents during various activities and daily routines. This support is primarily guided by structured educational approaches such as TEACCH and ABA methodologies. The facility is equipped with a variety of themed activity rooms, including those for arts and crafts, a greenhouse, and a hydrotherapy pool, ensuring that each resident receives comprehensive care tailored to their individual capabilities while respecting their unique challenges.
The establishment offers internal training programs to enhance these support techniques.
Candidate Profile
- Required qualifications
- Possession of a driver's license and access to a vehicle
- Key attributes include diligence, enthusiasm, and the ability to contribute suggestions that foster a supportive environment conducive to progress.
- Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum is preferred, along with a personal commitment to continuous learning and knowledge enhancement.
