Job Description

Role and Missions

As a Data Scientist Senior Conformite at AXA, you will contribute to the successful integration of technology and data into our tools and global framework for Combating Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism. Your mission will be to modernize our detection systems by diagnosing, identifying, integrating, and optimizing technologies to ensure compliance and increase operational efficiency.

You will be responsible for:

  • Identifying LCB-FT needs, formalizing complex problems into mathematical models, and adopting your approach by choosing from a variety of methods, ranging from classical statistical approaches to sophisticated machine learning models.
  • Managing data science projects on LCB-FT topics, particularly on person and operation risk detection.
  • Sharing advancements and participating in workshops with Group Compliance (in English).
  • Conducting statistical studies to test or improve new devices/processes.
  • Ensuring proactive monitoring and maintenance of our tools and implementing controls to ensure their proper functioning over time.
  • Conducting technological watch from various workshops or publications by Tracfin and the ACPR.
  • Providing expertise and sharing models with AXA France subsidiaries.
  • Contributing to the digital transformation of the Direction.
  • Implementing internal or external recommendations related to person or operation risk detection.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Mastering development tools, particularly Python.
  • Knowledge of Big Data technologies and staying up-to-date with their evolution.
  • Experience in managing projects involving multiple stakeholders: coordinating, planning, collaborating, and federating in a transversal mode.
  • English language skills.
