The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Data Center Operations Security Team is in search of a dedicated and skilled Physical Security Program Leader (PSPL) to enhance our operations.

This role entails the design, installation, and integration of security systems, including but not limited to Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and CCTV Surveillance systems.
The ideal candidate will possess the willingness and capability to engage in all relevant disciplines at various levels, from technology research to system design and layout, overseeing construction and implementation, as well as ongoing maintenance and upgrades throughout the system's lifecycle. A comprehensive understanding of security technology, innovative thinking, and exceptional organizational skills are essential, along with a proven track record of delivering results within specified timelines and budgets.
The PSPL will be a vital member of the EMEA Security team, reporting directly to the in-country Cluster Security Manager. This position involves supervising compliance with physical security standards, managing Physical Security Projects, participating in cross-functional teams, and being recognized as a Subject Matter Expert in all aspects of Physical Security.
The success of the PSPL will be evaluated based on their contributions to the development, implementation, and commissioning of standardized security infrastructure systems for the AWS region. Performance will be assessed against established objectives and metrics related to key areas such as customer service quality, access control efficiency, and the safeguarding of our customers' data, employees, and visitors. The role also includes ensuring adherence to Physical Security Standards and Programs that align with the goals of the Global Physical Security Team while enabling local site managers to utilize related services in a self-service manner.

Key Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and implementing solutions for system installations, upgrades, repairs, and replacements.
- Ensuring adherence to physical security project standards, scopes of work, budgets, and timelines.
- Overseeing the installation, operation, and maintenance of regional and/or global physical security systems in a dynamic environment.
- Effectively prioritizing tasks and ensuring smooth operations across organizational boundaries.
- Supporting the commissioning of security system equipment.
- Conducting final testing and acceptance of security systems.
- Coordinating preventative maintenance and repairs for security system equipment.
- Developing and implementing training programs for all users of physical security systems.
Basic Qualifications
– 5-12 years of experience managing the operation and installation of regional and/or global physical security systems.
– Experience as a Physical Security Program Manager for large and complex installations.
– Advanced knowledge and experience within the Security Integrator Industry.
Preferred Qualifications
• CPP, PSP, or CISSP Certification.
• Strong expertise in Security Systems Design.
• Certification in LenelS2 Access Control Systems.
• Extensive experience in corporate security and workplace safety.
