Position Overview

We are in search of a Lead Agile Transformation Specialist who will spearhead our Agile transformation initiatives within the organization. This role is pivotal in guiding teams to embrace and refine Agile methodologies within a Hybrid framework, ensuring the delivery of superior products and services. The responsibilities include providing comprehensive training, coaching, and mentorship to teams, facilitating essential Agile ceremonies, and promoting ongoing enhancements in our Agile and Hybrid practices.

Reporting directly to the Head of Office CTO, the selected candidate will oversee the integration of Agile methodologies in a Hybrid context. Given that some of our projects utilize a waterfall approach while our Product & Tech Teams operate under Agile principles, a hybrid strategy that merges both methodologies is crucial for the successful execution of our transformation agenda. This role encompasses planning, executing, and supervising methodologies to guarantee effective delivery while harmonizing the structure of Waterfall with the adaptability of Agile.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Agile and Hybrid transformation initiatives across the organization.
  • Deliver training and coaching to teams on Agile principles, practices, and tools.
  • Mentor Agile teams to cultivate self-organizing and high-performing dynamics.
  • Facilitate key Agile ceremonies, ensuring alignment and engagement from Tech and Product stakeholders.
  • Continuously assess and enhance Agile processes and practices.
  • Manage the cultural and organizational shifts necessary for successful Agile adoption.
  • Establish metrics and KPIs to evaluate the success of Agile integration.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous feedback.
  • Identify and address risks and challenges unique to the hybrid model.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), PMP, PMI-ACP, or similar.
  • Strong grasp of both Waterfall and Agile principles and practices.
  • Exceptional coaching, mentoring, and team-building skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Capability to influence and drive organizational change.
  • Proficient problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Familiarity with project management tools that support both methodologies.
  • A minimum of 10 years of proven experience in a Project/Product environment.
