Industrialization Supervisor

Position: Industrialization Supervisor (M/F) in Lyon 8ème

In this role within the methods department, you will report directly to the Technical Director and serve as the liaison between the design office and the manufacturing floor. Your primary responsibility will be to establish strategies that ensure the effective industrialization of transformers for traction applications.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Managing the implementation and industrialization of equipment at our manufacturing facility in India.
• Assessing technical decisions and their feasibility in terms of production capacity and process reliability.
• Engaging in supplier selection and overseeing tool reception.

Facilitating the transfer of industrialization processes to technical teams:

• Coordinating the development and approval of operational procedures.
• Delivering training to production teams on both internal and external manufacturing processes.
• Offering technical assistance to production teams.
• Overseeing the industrial transfer of projects to our Indian facility.

Performance monitoring and enhancement:

• Identifying necessary investments and budgeting for projects in advance.
• Analyzing and establishing performance indicators related to activity and resources (labor, tools, etc.).

Continuous improvement of industrialization methods and processes:

• Organizing enhancements to products and processes.
• Identifying issues and implementing corrective measures.
• Contributing to the optimization of production tools and the development of new manufacturing processes.

You will lead a team of three individuals.

This role involves occasional travel to India for one to two weeks, twice a year.

Ideal candidates will possess a background in industrial engineering with a minimum of five years of experience in the industrialization of specialized machinery. You should be proactive, capable of addressing unexpected challenges, and adept at proposing solutions. Strong communication skills, familiarity with CAD software such as Creo or Solidworks, and experience in management are essential. Proficiency in technical English and office software is also required.
