Job Title: Research Engineer in Computer Science

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Grenoble, France

Job Description:

About the Project

The F-TRACT project aims to develop a new probabilistic atlas of electrophysiological functional tractography of the human brain. This atlas will be freely available to the clinical and neuroscience community and will be useful for understanding how the brain works and developing large-scale neurocomputational models.

The successful candidate will maintain and develop computational infrastructures of the lab and be involved in image processing for computational human neuroanatomy related to epilepsy surgery.

About the Host Research Group

The Brain Stimulation & Systems Neuroscience research group, led by Dr. Olivier David, focuses on studying large-scale brain networks to develop new applications of brain stimulation in psychiatry, movement disorders, and epilepsy using a translational approach based on clinical and preclinical research.

Candidates will have the opportunity to work in a close-knit team with experimentalists, methodologists, and clinicians, providing an optimal environment for developing the skills of young neuroscientists.

Requirements
  • PhD in Computer Science, Neuroscience, or a related field
  • Experience in computational neuroanatomy and image processing
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or C++
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

How to Apply

Please submit your CV, statement of research interests, and the names and contact details of two referees to Dr. Olivier David.
