Senior Manager, Product Management
About the RoleAmadeus is seeking a seasoned Senior Manager, Product Management to lead the development and evolution of our Hotel Central Reservation System. As a key member of our product management team, you will be responsible for defining and executing the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product enhancements, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Your expertise in product management, leadership, and hotel industry operations will be invaluable in shaping the future of our product.
Key Responsibilities- Product Vision and Strategy
- Define and execute the product vision and strategy, translating it into a comprehensive product roadmap.
- Source and prioritize requirements from stakeholders and customers to drive continuous business impact.
- Conduct customer research to inform product features and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Product Development
- Oversee the creation of business requirements for product development, ensuring alignment with client needs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to drive technical projects and prioritize features effectively.
- Communicate the product vision and ensure alignment with development efforts.
- Product Management Organization
- Guide and support a global team of product managers, providing guidance and support.
- Foster a cohesive product management organization, focusing on common goals and day-to-day execution.
- Product Lifecycle Management
- Gather and prioritize market and customer requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Work closely with solution and Research & Development (R&D) teams to achieve business case objectives.
- Experience
- Significant experience in the hotel industry/operations, leading & developing teams, and product management.
- Demonstrated success in defining and launching products that meet and exceed business objectives.
- Skills
- Professional proficiency in English and French.
- An excellent knowledge of the hotel distribution landscape and concepts including Central Reservation Systems and Property Management Systems.
