Position Overview

In response to our expanding operations, we are seeking a Transport Operations Coordinator.

Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, your role will focus on ensuring the effective and efficient management of transport operations, including pickups and national routes, while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving, analyzing, and processing transport requests.
  • Identifying technical solutions for the movement of goods.
  • Planning, delegating, and overseeing the deployment of human and material resources in logistics.
  • Coordinating, supervising, and ensuring the seamless transport of goods with an emphasis on profitability.
  • Implementing safety protocols related to cargo handling and compliance with current regulations.
  • Overseeing service quality, mitigating disputes, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Maintaining dashboards and utilizing monitoring and quality assessment tools.
You will collaborate closely with all operational and dockyard teams.

Qualifications:
As a field operator, you should possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a logistics or transport operations role, preferably within a refrigerated context.

Proficiency with computer systems is essential, along with key attributes for success in this position: organization, responsiveness, attention to detail, initiative, and strong communication skills.

This is a permanent role based in Rezé (44).

Compensation and status will be determined based on experience.
