Position Overview
In response to our expanding operations, we are seeking a Transport Operations Coordinator.
Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and enhance the daily management of transport operations, including pickups and national routes, while adhering to quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving, analyzing, and processing transport requests.
- Identifying technical solutions for the movement of goods.
- Planning, allocating, and supervising the utilization of human and material resources in the transport of goods.
- Organizing, tracking, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods transport with an emphasis on profitability.
- Implementing safety protocols related to cargo handling and complying with current regulations.
- Overseeing service quality, resolving disputes, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Maintaining dashboards and utilizing monitoring and quality assurance tools.
Required Qualifications:
As a field operator, you should possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a transport or logistics operations role, preferably within a refrigerated context.
Proficiency with computer tools is essential, along with key attributes for success in this role: Organization, responsiveness, attention to detail, initiative, and strong communication skills.
This is a permanent position based in Rezé (44).
Compensation and status will be determined based on experience.
