Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost, and delivery objectives are met.
  • Coordinate project execution, ensuring alignment with Alstom's Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Technical (QCDT) objectives.
  • Support the development of commodity strategies and supplier panels.
  • Prepare and launch Request for Quotations with suppliers, ensuring work package sheet commitments are respected.
  • Promote Alstom's Code of Ethics and adhere to the highest standards of ethical conduct.
  • Coordinate projects with various departments, ensuring effective teamwork and problem-solving.
  • Ensure timely delivery and quality, particularly during the ramp-up phase of projects.
  • Support commodity strategy and participate in the elaboration of commodity panels.
  • Provide inputs to build differentiation and support the Commodity Manager in the tender phase.
  • Represent commodities towards projects, platforms, and solutions.
  • Apply Alstom's Procurement process and provide return on experience.
  • Build and manage supplier relationships, including negotiation and specific agreements.
  • Measure supplier performance and develop them in coordination with the supplier Quality Team.
  • Assess and manage risky suppliers, developing mitigation plans as needed.
  • Manage initial issues before escalation to line managers.
  • Monitor Corporate Social Responsibility engagements and deviations.
Performance Measurements:
  • Savings in P&L and Cost to Complete.
  • Non-Conformities Event and On-Time Delivery.
