ICT Procurement Specialist

As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our company's IT procurement strategy. Reporting to the Head of Group Procurement, you will be responsible for steering and controlling the relationship and delivery of our external IT suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:- Define and implement efficient category management strategies to drive cost savings and improve supplier performance.
- Analyze IT costs and identify opportunities to reduce expenditure through effective sourcing and procurement practices.
- Develop and execute global sourcing strategies, manage RFPs, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible deals.
- Implement best procurement practices and ICT procurement standards across all business units, ensuring compliance and regulatory requirements are met.
- Collaborate with the CIO office to perform cost and scenario analysis, benchmarking, and risk assessment to inform procurement decisions.
- Determine, steer, and control the performance of suppliers in terms of quality and stability of deliveries.
- Provide a structured process, rules of engagement, and end-to-end support for our ICT supplier landscape.
- Minimum 7 years of experience managing IT categories as a strategic buyer in a multi-national company.
- Proven experience in project management with delivery responsibility.
- Strong ability to use data and insights to identify and drive opportunities.
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to foster relationships with peers and other functions, motivate, and influence key project stakeholders.
- Strong English written and oral communication skills.
