We are seeking a highly skilled Bioinformatician to join our team at Institut Curie, a leading research center in the fight against cancer. As a Bioinformatician, you will play a crucial role in analyzing complex biological data to advance our understanding of cancer and develop innovative treatments.
About the ProjectOur project, ARTURO, aims to investigate the role of intratumoral microbiota in therapy responses using patient-derived tumor-on-chip models. This interdisciplinary project brings together experts from various fields, including computational biology, microbiology, and cancer research.
Responsibilities- Analyze sequencing data (RNA-Seq from bulk, single-cell, and/or spatial transcriptomic) to identify patterns and correlations relevant to cancer research
- Develop and implement computational methods to extract information from tumor-on-chip models
- Collaborate with researchers from various disciplines to integrate clinical data, omics analysis, and novel ToC-based information
- Pre-doctoral or post-doctoral level in bioinformatics, computational biology, or a related field
- Experience in handling high-dimensional -omics data and proficiency in high-level languages like Python or R
- Image analysis skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
