We are seeking a highly skilled Bioinformatician to join our team at Institut Curie, a leading research center in cancer research. The successful candidate will have a strong background in bioinformatics and a keen interest in analyzing complex biological data.
Project OverviewThe project, titled ARTURO, aims to investigate the role of intratumoral microbiota in therapy responses using patient-derived tumor-on-chip models. This interdisciplinary project involves collaboration with various institutions, including Institut Curie, and will focus on two frequent cancer subtypes: non-small cell lung cancer and invasive lobular breast cancer.
Responsibilities- Analyze complex heterogeneous biological data, including sequencing data and high-dimensional -omics data.
- Develop and implement computational methods to extract information from tumor-on-chip models.
- Collaborate with researchers and clinicians to integrate clinical data and omics analysis.
- Contribute to the development of advanced computational methods and tools for cancer research.
- Pre-doctoral or post-doctoral level in bioinformatics or a related field.
- Strong background in bioinformatics, including experience with sequencing data analysis and high-dimensional data handling.
- Proficiency in high-level programming languages, such as Python or R, and good coding practices.
- Image analysis skills are a plus.
